See how happy everyone is the night before the wedding.
note: all the males in Chris' family shave their heads so it was easy to pick them out of the crowd.
Magnolia Manor : Helena, Alabama The porch is used for exchanging vows. The main floor can be set up for buffet dinners. The upstairs has two lovely suites, one for the bride and her party and one for the groom so all the fussing and dressing is done right on site.
By the time of the ceremony, 6:30 on the 5th, the grounds were dry and the gardens in order so my fears of a wet and soggy wedding didn't happen. It truly was a fairy tale setting.
Tables were set out for eating and an area for dancing as well as a bar and snack table were under the porch to the left as well as a canvas addition.
Rather a surprise to arrive at a wedding and have the police show up. Turns out that in the county a police office must be on hand whenever alcohol is served. He spent a lot of time in the kitchen. You can also see our trusty old beast, the car I thought would die on the way down. Guess I'll have to trust Paul's judgement on all things mechanical.
We all know I take pictures of food. This is a portion of the buffet.
