Shadows on the wall

I opened my living room curtains Tuesday morning and was treated to a light and shadow display.
The lines in the bright circles are the stems of the leaves on the tree outside the window.

I grabbed my camera and took a walk yesterday afternoon. Wander three blocks from my house and you are at the edge of the Niagara escarpment. Thankfully it hasn't all been built up with houses so I took some photos to share the cold but bright autumn day.

The leaves apparently caught my attention.
