Glum. That's how I felt for most of the morning. I could have become glummer but I was saved by a trip to the bookstore. 20% off today.
At times like this I probably should consider buying more, but the one novel suits me fine along with the 3 cookbooks that cost me $3.19 each.
The rain seems to be holding off so Paul has headed out to BBQ the steaks and my modified recipe for grilled red potatoes with Greek herbs are just about done in the oven.
Add some carrots cooked with fresh thyme to the menu and dinner should be good.
There's a Miss Marple mystery on TV tonight so I'm set.
Ohhhhh the drinks are ready and the steak is coming in so I'm gone.
