Trying to sort it all out

Of course I took flower photos. This one on our first stop in Gros Morne Provincial Park.

Paul took this one of me on the ferry to Labrador. It was windy, it was cold, it was wet but we had to go outside to see the iceberg.

Paul aboard the boat on Western Brook Pond. They tend to call lakes ponds in Newfoundland This is also a fresh water fjord.

We've been back since Sunday afternoon but between emptying the suitcases right into the washer, cutting the grass, buying groceries ( Stephen had brought in the basics ) and trying to set my thoughts and notes in order I haven't managed to come up with anything worth posting.

I took fewer pictures than I had thought I would because there wasn't any way to capture the grandeur of some places and because I refused to take my eyes of the scenery in others.

I took fewer notes than on any other trip again because I refused to look down at paper and waste time writing while I could be looking.

I'm trying to piece things together now and it is overwhelming. By the time we reached our hotels each night, had dinner and sorted out for the next day it was time to sleep.

The pace wasn't frantic but certainly well packed, the company was good, our tour manager and bus driver sensational and the fresh fish delicious.

Once I have achieved some order, put place names to as many photos as possible I'm going to use the blog as a diary of sorts and you are invited to read along with me.

Stay tuned.
Until then - our Iceberg on the foggy ferry return.
