Febru-dreary

Blah season is currently in full swing. There is just something about this short month that sucks all the ambition and delight out of me and just about everyone I talk to these days.

The spring bulbs helped but there was always the little voice in the back of my head reminding me I had months to go to see the real thing outside, then add in the almost daily reminder that sun shine is in short supply and the cold temperatures that aren't about to give up quite yet.

Next month will March us closer to spring. Here's hoping anyway. *sigh*

Scanning through seed catalogs helps. Thanks for the sunny flower.

The sunflower is cheery, yes, look through seed catalogues, plotting and planning a riot of colour ;)

Oh dear... Hope you find more sunshiney and flowery ways to get you through the next few week. (I recommend teleporting yourself downunder each February. The heat and humidity we've had lately might just have you wishing you were back in the "cool".

(I'm in a bit of 'blah' mode myself at the moment - but I can't really blame dreary weather on it. Planets? Stars? What?

This February here is one for the record books. Crazy blue skies and sunshine....been 63F the last few days. Going on two weeks of it now. If you've been watching any of the Olympic coverage, you can see how pretty it is....and how they are having issues with no snow. We're loving it. It's getting cold at nights, and we do worry about all the plants that have decided to bloom. Hoping my forsythia won't suffer. My primroses look really happy!

I have been so out of the loop I didn't even know something had happened to Paul. Sorry. How are you all going now?
