I'm not sure how to take Paul's nudge over this cartoon ( do click to enlarge ). Was he poking fun at himself or at me and my slight annoyance at what he hoards?
I admire her courage to just get the job done and do take note how she still had time to decorate the walls and cook dinner.
At this point I'm still reducing quietly behind his back. He hasn't noticed yet that some of the ice cream containers he saved are gone or that his collection of used toothbrushes is smaller. It's not worth my life however to touch any of the magazines that he brought into our marriage.
And in case you are wondering he does drag them out when a current issue makes a reference back to old articles.
..I took two boxes of my old stuff and have another one ready to go for the garage sale at the gym. I have no problem separating myself from items I no longer need or use...

Decorate walls and cook dinner--:D. Non Sequitur is one of my favorite cartoons. After getting no help from sibs when cleaning out the parents' house after the funerals I came home and emptied out most of our attic and half the basement. Problem is...all the stuff left is having babies in the dark. Best wishes with your de-junking.
I'm totally taking that cartoon. Terry accuses me of doing that sort of thing all the time.
It is satisfying, tho, isn't it. To have a clean and uncluttered house.
Love it. No danger of that here. Funny thing is I know a couple of households where there is a role reversal thing going on.
Yep - I am sure V feels the same way!
BTW - my word verification is "fixagin" which I thought worthy of comment!!
Collection of used toothbrushes??? Oh, wait, I'll bet he uses them to clean things like auto parts....or smear grease around, right? LOL!
My hubby has a large shop. I don't ever go in there. I don't think my heart could take it.
Kindred souls I think *grin* only we everything ends up in my basement.
