It will take a day or two to get sorted out but just wanted to announce our arrival. There was rain when we left Hamilton, there was rain when we stopped in Edmonton but there was glorious sunshine waiting for us in Victoria.
The first leg was good despite managing to seat ourselves in the baby section ( there was one right next to me and perhaps fearing for his life, behaved ), the second shorter and with magnificent mountaintop views . Packing our own lunch was a good idea. We make better sandwiches. *grin*
The airport bus dropped us right at Emily's door and we were settled in early enough to have a meal and then walk into downtown Victoria.
Awake early this morning as we adjust to the time change, a more detailed crawl through Em's cupboards and today we will head out and do a better shop having picked up milk, cereal and coffee at a local shop on our wander yesterday.
We are still grinning from ear to ear but feeling a little overwhelmed by the places to go and things to see.
