We've had high winds.
We've had freezing rain.
We've had snow. Lots of snow.
Knee deep snow.
Stephen clearing the sidewalk
Paul and Stephen refilling the gas tank so they can finish.
Now we just have to wait til the city snowploughs go by and bury our driveway so they can go out and play again.
photos taken by me...from inside the house
(yes they did the neighbouring houses as well )

That was lovely of them to do the neighbour's as well.
But you were clearly the smart one to stay inside :-)
We caught a news item last night about it, and the girls said "Hey, that's where Elizabeth is!"....
All I can say is ... WOW...
...and we didn't get the worse bit.
By Monday morning all was back to normal.
You just have to adjust driving and driving times and all is well.
It's photos like those that make me glad my great-grandparents decided to migrate to Australia, not Canada. Glad that your men enjoy 'playing' in the snow. At least you have the right weather to enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner.
This is why we don't have snow in Cairns. I think I could live quite happily without a white Christmas ^_^
But Fred, snow is better than cyclones or whatever it is than blows down buildings and floods the streets.
I totally agree...snow is better. Around here it comes and goes pretty quickly. Still waiting for that first snowfall at our elevation (sea-level). I would LOVE to have a white Christmas.
