Day One and looking good

By 8 am the water was off and the work started. First out was the old sink and vanity, next the faucets and spout from the tub/shower and the toilet. It didn't take long for them to cut out the old, install and solder the new pipes for the sink and
install the new assembly for the tub
By 2 pm they had the water turned back on, reset tiles, had done plaster repairs to smooth out the walls and started to install the new flooring.
I headed out to check out door pulls for the new cabinet ( brought home 2 different styles to try ) went to the grocery store and by the time I got home at 4 they had finished all that could be done today, cleaned up and gone.
We would never had accomplished this much in a day and we couldn't possibly have tackled the complete change of plumbing necessary to replace the old fixtures in the tub/shower. As handy as Paul is, this really was a job best left to the professionals.
