Recovering from a muscle pull in my back has kept me close to home the last few days.Enough I cried today. It's a lovely day for a walk.
The leaves are almost done. It's crunchy underfoot. Stumps make interesting pictures.
Thankfully I had a good pile of library books to keep me reading.
BURY YOUR DEAD: Louise Penny Latest is the Chief Inspector Gamache/Three Pine mysteries set in Quebec. Good as they come.
THE LAST TALK WITH LOLA FAYE: Thomas H Cook The first by Cook I've read and it was a page turner. I'm glad I resisted the temptation to peek at the ending.
AT HOME: Bill Bryson Prompted by his current home in England, a fun read of facts and interesting bits of history.
WORTH DYING FOR: Lee Child Still not tired of Jack Reacher and his adventures.

At Home is such a fascinating book. I couldn't put it down and read several parts over again out loud to my wife and she enjoyed them as well. Great stuff. I've given it to three people for Christmas this year.
