Taking my new camera shopping with me, just in case I found a case or strap that appealed, meant I could snap the grasshopper sitting on the hood of the car.

Great shot! I can see you're liking your new camera. It's been so cool around here this summer, that I haven't yet seen a grasshopper. Have noticed the flying ants are out....a true harbinger of fall!
