Tomorrow I pay the deposit on our 2 week July holiday to Newfoundland and Labrador
a place where a good rain jacket might come in handy.

Yesterday I purchased myself a Helly Hansen as seen above in Grey with white zipper pocket detail. Very chic. I also bought a jacket for Paul at a price that made his eyebrows lift.

Today I returned them, went to a different store and bought the bright green Creekside jacket (screams SEE ME in the very nicest way ) saving an addition $10.00 with a coupon from the sales flyer that arrived with this mornings paper. Paul got a jacket he feels fits him better and was also on sale. Made him much happier.

Difference in price between them ... $257.25.
Leaves more to spend when we're away.

The green one is so cute! Sounds like a good product too. My husband pays the price for his Helly Hansen rain gear, and found it the only thing that would hold up to the rigors of logging (back when he did that sort of thing). But I'm sure your purchase will more than meet your needs, and look very chic besides. So....vacation! Sounds nice.
