We have been to the neurologist and yes, Paul did have a seizure, cause unknown and his back injury was most likely caused by the muscles contracting and not from the impact. He will be having an EEG and an MRI to see if any reason for the seizure can be found. He is now on medication and once all the tests are done and reviewed and his medication is at the correct levels he should easily get this driver's licence back.
He is finally happy with the level of improvement in his back and other than having to be careful not to pick up heavy objects and to bend at the knees it should heal on it's own .... over time.

The crocus is such a cheerful sight! They are the very first color in my garden--blooming even when the ground is still cold.
Also glad to hear the good news on your husband's health. Another sign of good cheer.
Oh! That sounds like really positive news for P.!!
Love the sequence photos of the flowers!
Seizures are scary, but sometimes they just *happen*, you have one and then they're gone. Here's to hoping. I'm glad his back is getting better!
The crocuses are gorgeous, what a great thing to watch over a week.
Those flowers are so cheerful looking, really like a big splash of happiness :)
Glad to hear Paul continues on the mend, just remind him (if he's like most men) to not rush anything ;)
The flower is lovely...and I hope your lives are back to "lovely" soon. It can be scary going through medical procedures and wondering what is going on. Praying for Paul, and trusting that he will be A-okay soon.
