100th book finished this year

An unexpected surprise arrived in my mailbox. Tracey, who knows how much I love to read send me Salvation Creek by Susan Duncan, an Australian woman who struggled with 2 deaths in her family, cancer, a dramatic change of homes and finally an acceptance of life and the peace that brings.

I not only loved the story but the locations and people so well described.

I checked the library, I checked the local book stores and in the end I order her second book from a great bookstore in England that ships FREE!! Even with the exchange into American dollars it cost less than ordering it from a Canadian store.

So I'm now counting the days til The House at Salvation Creek arrives so I can find out what happens next.

Thanks Tracey and thanks Matt for introducing me to Book Depository

Yep, worth a read, Jayne! I'm having a chuckle that you might now pick up this Aussie book recommended to you by a Canadian!! Love it.

(And I'm so glad you enjoyed it, E.!)
