It worked

It's not easy figuring out how to take a picture of an acorn. I tried balancing it on the table, I tried sitting it in a candle holder, I tried holding it in one hand. Didn't work.
Inspiration ... balance it in the thyme in the kitchen window.

Paul says there's a squirrel out there cursing me but he left it on the path where I was walking, so it was fair game.

That looks so effective with the thyme behind it, almost like a Christmas decoration...would look great as a Chrissy card I reckon :)

No acorns here. Oak trees don't like the weather, I guess. So it is fun to see a real one up close. We barely have squirrels. Great idea for the setting. Thanks!
