Seems a good spot to relax and have lunch.
Pesky human coming out and interrupting my meal.We spotted the squirrel and Paul grabbed the camera. The first shot is through the dining room window and the second outside, the squirrel having run for safety as P. tried to get close.
Friday the tomatoes got planted. There are four in the garden near the house and four at the back where you can see Paul shovel in hand cleaning up the deposit one of the neighbourhood cats left in the freshly turned soil. You can also see a bit of the winter coats airing out in the breeze.

That is one dark squirrel! He looks like a fuzzy shadow. Hehe on the cats helping you garden. Freshly turned dirt is hard for kitties to resist. Best wishes for your tomato crop.
We don't have the large grey squirrels around here...just the smaller brown ones. They love to come eat our bird seed, and they've been chewing out the holes on our birdfeeders so that a small opening will now accomodate them. I think our firds have found other places to nest now....darn.
Wow - I can't imagine seeing a squirrel in the wild!! Good luck with the tomato crop - we planted strawberries, onions, spinach, silverbeet, shallots (lol nearly all s words) on the weekend, but Eddie wasn't that keen on digging through the dusty old mulch we had on top - or the 5 or so magpies watching for any worms turned!

Actually he's black. We get grey squirrels as well here.
There isn't a variety of squirrel alive that can resist or manage to take over a bird feeder
