The proof that I am..
You start by going to the garden centre and spending $15.00 on dirt.
Then you dig a new little garden and plant it with plants that you have to move so you can increase your tomato plot.
Follow that by filling your patio pots with some of the newly purchased dirt.
Sprinkle in the herb seeds you decided to try this year instead of bedding plants, Sweet Basil, Thyme and Savory. Good old French Tarragon returned after wintering in the garage.
Throw a handful of peat moss here and a handful there and finish with a little cultivating, a little weed pulling and just a touch of grass trimming along the front garden bed.
Left to do: dig the compost into the two tomato plots and plant.

This weekend is the local home and garden show, filled with all sorts of tempting treats for the garden. I look forward to finding something new to add to our space.
Nothing like home grown tomatoes. Worth their weight in flavor. I finally bought some "wall of water" thingies to protect my plants from cold weather. Hope you have a bountiful crop.

Save it and use it for gardening season. It's disappearing because it works!!

Ahh - there is no joy in the world equal to getting your hands dirty and a huge sense of satisfaction!!
