Nature some times needs a kick start.




Come July there will be white fragrant gladioli growing here. I planted them yesterday along with some yellow Asiatic Lilies in the front garden and some mixed coloured Windflowers (anemones) in the back.





The colour is coming,





and the maple tree is covered in buds.

Your spots of color are enchanting. One needs some color around after that long winter, and Mother Nature can take her time sometimes. But it's coming! Our maples are just starting to bud, the hydrangeas starting to leaf out. But I have forsythia in full bloom, along with a pink camellia that was thoroughly crushed by the snow. Plants are amazingly resilient. Well, some of them....
